Multiplus AC and DC grounding

I have an aluminum boat so the batteries are not connected to the hull and it’s important it stays that way.

For obvious safety reasons, the AC earth needs to be connected to the hull.

I have a MultiPlus 12/3000/120-50 230V. I have grounded the chassis to the negative bus (as per installation instructions), but the AC earth seems to be connected to the chassis as well, and I end up with a connnection between the hull and the DC negative.

What should I connect the chassis to (if anything), and if so what section of wire should I use?
