I was young and on a tight budget. This off grid system started as a small system to keep alive some network equipment. It slowly evolved to this.
At the time switching to 48V would mean i need to change batteries, fuses, and inverter.
Now I will change them in 10 years
Fair enough. Can you series connect the batteries for 48V?
I think that is a possibility. But at the moment I am not worried about that. Plus I will need to change my inverter too.
I started small like most and have learnt a lot. My advice is 450/100 5000 multi and 48V battery. The cost to upgrade should be ok and sell what you don’t need. Setting up small MPPTs with large cables is onerous.
