Well, Iāve used it for phase synchronisation of ac-drives without problems.
As long as you stay local its not a problem.

Do you know what type SPD? I assume a basic 2 or 3? External type 1 is about Ā£250 each x 7 Ā£! And a lot of work and wall space after 7 isolatorsā¦

Is there a specific number or manufacturing date which can be checked and the dealer can be asked for?

I suppose that those should be as recent as possible, as the technical bulletin is from August 2024, so 3-5 months after that, as they say in the bulletin.
So better be of year 2025.
Since all RS450 models where sold out for over 3 months no one should have any of the old units on stock.
New units should have a serial number from late 24 or early 25.
Even if you some how get an āoldā unit you would be totally fine with that as long as you install it as described in the manual.
The āproblemā was that some users installed the units in a corrosive atmosphere which isnāt allowed.
