Hello Usually I charge my battery (280 AH lipo4) during the day with 2-250 watt panels using the default lipo4 settings-14.2 Absorption and 13.5 float (30 amp mppt). I don’t generally draw off the batteries until evening at which time the panels are disconnected. Today I decided to use my inverter at the same time while the batteries were charging. Twice the inverter shut off due to the input voltage being too high. This has never happened before…after checking the Victron connect app it showed a high voltage reading fo 15.33 which is why the inverter shut down. The weather was mixed sun and clouds…Doesn’t the charger controller limit the voltage to the battery? Is my absorption set too high? I have enclosed a screen shot from the Victron app. Thank you
It could have happened for two reasons
-
The mppt output a voltage too high- which unless you have temp compensation on doesn’t seem likely . And also the previous record does not show that happening.

The battery/load shut down for some reason and there was overshoot on voltage. Which seems the more likely one.
Thank you for your response, I will watch to see if this occurs again.
