Monitoring multiple battery banks with Cerbo GX

I have a house bank of 3 12v AGMs, a bow thruster battery, a separate start battery for each engine. My Multiplus is connected to the house bank, and the other batteries charge through voltage relays. I plan to put a smart shunt in the house bank. Right now the Cerbo GX report Batt Voltage on the house bank only. The Smart shunt will provide load on the house bank.
I am unsure how I can monitor the other batteries for voltage. A smart shunt will give me load, but it only connects through the (-) connection so certainly cannot provide voltage across the battery. Or maybe it has a small wire that goes to battery positive? If so, I missed that when reading about the smart shunt. I see someone else asked about measuring just voltage on a bank but they received no answer. THAT is my question, how do I measure voltage of batteries other than my house battery? I cannot see how the multiplus could resolve which battery it is reading when charging through the VSRs…

Thanks,

Steve

No, the smart shunt has 2 “positive” inputs, so can monitor one battery for power, soc and voltage, and voltage on a second battery.
so you could use 2 smart shunts, and have each one monitor an engine battery as well as the house and bow thruster batteries.

Ah, ok, so it has other connections for voltage. Good to know. Thanks for info.
