I’m familiar with connecting Modbus sensors to a Cerbo with the Cerbo acting as a master. I’m trying to determine if it’s possible for a Cerbo to act as a RS-485 Modbus slave using the Victron RS485 to USB interface? I have an industrial application where I’ll have remote power supplies (solar) with Li-on battery banks powering environmental sensors. The sensors communicate back to a SCADA system via wireless Modbus UDP via wireless link. The local connection is RS-485 Modbus. I’d like to connect the Cerbo to the wireless link to send battery data / faults, etc. back to the SCADA system.
Is this possible?
