I'm looking for a level meter for a big Water tank that is compatible with CerboGX

Hello experts,

I’ll try it here in the new forum

I have a great Victron system in operation. Works great!
Now I also want to use other functions.

I can display filling levels in the CerboGX.
I have a 7000 liter cistern/water tank about 3m deep.
Now I would like to display the filling level in the console.
Fine but not a suitable solution :frowning:
Most level solutions are for small water tanks.

Does anyone know or have a solution for how I can measure large water tanks and display them on the Cerbo? Best via Bluetooth.

Thank you

@Floki
Have you looked at the Mopeka range? They have TD200 and TD40 (possibly other brands too) which are said to be compatible with Victron.
I have neither so no experience with them.

With a GX Tank 140 you can use 4-20 mA sensors.
For example a
YB-2J-F or a tl‑ 136

I have the YB-2J-F in use, but not with a Tank 140. I’m using an esp to calculate the liters and publish to MQTT.

I’ve bought some SCAD tank sensors but haven’t yet gotten around to installing them. I like that they install on the tank externally as I don’t want to significantly mess with my black water tank.

According to their documentation:

SCAD’s S2R-quad converts the output of SCAD’s popular electronic tank level sensors to a standard variable resistance up to 240 Ohm output. The S2R enables SCAD’s sensors to integrate with standard float sensor inputs on digital vehicle and vessel monitoring and switching systems such as the Victron Cerbo GX (not intended for use with analog float sensor gauges).
