How to store slider/numerical input values that survive node-red restarts

recently I noted, that from version 3.60.75 of the large image my numerical input values as well as slider settings are reset to ‘nothing’ every morning. The only thing I changed was a system upgrade from 3.60.7(2ish).
Anyway, I don’t like this state of not defined variables and even if this a (buggy?) new feature that gets eventually fixed - how could I set those inputs to a default value upon restart and (permanently) remember the last choosen value? How did you guys solved this issue?

Thx, Al.

Setting a default value on restart is easy, just use an injection node, which is what I do.

Can’t say I’ve noticed anything resetting over night though although my Cerbo is on 3.52, and the latest offered is 3.55.

There is a way to store values to disk, and then reload them, but I’ve no idea how to do that.

PS No idea at the moment what version of Node Red I’m on. Found it, 3.1.10
