Dear community,
Cerbo-GX_Smart Shunt 500A/50mV MPPT 100/30 IP22 12v/16amp charger
My installation above is installed on a boat, it can be weeks between visits & months during winter periods. I would like to use the the Cerbo GX to automatically switch (via relay/contactor) on the IP22 charger should the battery voltage drop below 12.2v, this will greatly extend the life of the lead acid bank & give peace of mind.
I realise, I could just leave the charger connected to the inverter & allow it to switch in & out accordingly, I feel this would just drain power from the lithium bank unnecessarily.
Question; How do I connect to my Aux (starter) battery voltage to activate relay1/2?
I have been able to connect to the inverter bank voltage (24v) using the generator start stop function, I just cant seem to access this using the Aux battery voltage.
It shows the Starter battery in (settings>system setup>battery measurements smartshunt Aux measurementstarter battery) however, the Tab is not active when clicked on
Would greatly appreciate if someone could point me in the right direction.
