How to configure programmable relay as a virtual load output in VictronConnect?

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to set up my solar charger with a virtual load output as described in the manual, but I’m stuck.

The instructions say:

Use the programmable relay and enable it to act as a virtual load output via the Relay function in the VictronConnect app. See the section “Programmable Relay Configuration”.

I’ve read that section, but I don’t fully understand how to actually configure this in VictronConnect. I can’t figure out the exact steps to make the relay behave as a virtual load output.

Has anyone here done this before? Could you explain step by step how to:

  1. Find and configure the programmable relay in VictronConnect.

  2. Enable it as a “virtual load output.”

  3. Make sure it works with the BatteryLife algorithm (if that’s needed).

I tried but couldn’t make it work. Any help, screenshots, or guidance would be greatly appreciated!
