How to change the charger settings for Multiplus-II in parallel using VRM remote configure?

In the Ve-System-Configurator … you had already opened …

But that does not offer the options of the VE Configure 3, it’s a totally different page.
The one in the image I posted is from earlier when I was running only one Multi.

right Mouse click on the Multi you want to configure

Right, so I can do the same as I do in VE Configure 3 ?

Yes … at the end you can save your changes and return to the VE Configurator …

This is what I was getting by opening the file which

is why I could not go any further.

Today it works, no idea why I was getting the update error two days ago.
here is the page now and, yes, I see what you mean now that I can open it correctly.
I have now activated both inverter chargers even though I understand that only one can be used for that purpose

.

it dosn´t matter …
But at the end … it works … perfect

Sorry for the trouble, I wouldn’t have asked if it had worked the first time.
Now I know for sure.
Thank you so much

That’s what this is for … :grinning:
Above he complains about an uneven firmware and that Unit 1 is probably not connected to the grid … as already mentioned in your other post … maybe …

It’s possible, but since we are here you reckon that I could use both chargers halving the amperage so that they share the load?
I wonder why I was advised that it would not work

I see no reason why that wouldn’t work, I even recommend it.

Does that mean I have to install the same assistants on the slave as well?
Don’t forget that this is a Parallel system not a split phase, I was told that only one charger would function in this scenario

If you only need one relay in one of the multis … then only this wizard in only this multi!
If you want to be on the safe side, then use the same assistant twice in series in both multis.

If the AC INs and AC OUTs are connected to each other, then yes: you need to configure any assistant manipulating these on both devices.
And if you’re using AUX connection to do so, you need to physically connect those too.

I will just in case especially if I want both AC2 Out to be interrupted.
However, I seem to remember that if the Multis are in parallel mode, the slave will always follow the master’s commands.
I still normally configure them identically just in case, (same as the two MPPTs) I hope this in not causing any problems though.

Of course they are, being in parallel there wouldn’t be any other way

Humm, I was wondering if I’d have to connect the Cerbo relay to both Aux 1! So you say I do ?

When manipulating relays in a parallel system with the AUX signal, yes.
Then the AUX pins need to be connected and the assistants need to be in both Multi’s.
But I think we’re merging two of your topics now

True, I have transitioned from stage 1 to stage 2 where I’m finally getting to learn the assistants.
