Do I understand it correctly that the only difference between v3.50 and 3.42 is this new look for Remote console?
What do I loose by staying at v3.42? Other than this new look.
The changelog is a bit longer than “new GUI added”

It’s probably a larger file size reading these replies, but also I’m going to assume that because it’s not as find things just working slower.

To reply, yes - its a compromise.
The tech (webassembly) allows us to have one implementation that works both on limited physical hardware/displays and webbrowsers.
And, once loaded, is super fast in a webbrowser which is a great advantage and improvement over the old solution. Especially when used remotely over VRM.

I like the new GUI but every time I switch to the new GUI I get a warning “System load high, closing the side panel to reduce CPU load”. My system consists of CerboGX, Touch7, Smart Shunt, MultiPlus and Smart MPPT.
Is there an option for it to be a single session? I’m trying to skip the intro page on my cerbo (viewed over hdmi) but due to it being a different session on my phone, I cannot skip it so it has made the hdmi port, and the monitor attached to the cerbo useless. How can I skip directly to the home screen?
It works on 3.42.
It is sad that for Victron to move forward some users must be pushed of the wagon.

The new gui does not load on my Samsung galaxy tab2. Guess it is a antique in computer terms.
The old gui stil works thought, thanks Victron. Only had to change (add) my bookmark link with /gui_v1/.
