The Global Link 520 version information in the software changelog docx file on professional site has odd date for the v3.00, and I was wondering when v3.00 came out - eg June 19, 2026, or what it says in the file 2024 which would be out of sequence.

The dates are correct, if a bit confusing due to v2.07 and v3.00 being released out of order and via different mechanisms. v2.07 is an over-the-air update for existing v2.xx devices, and was indeed released later than v3.00, which is a version released to manufacturing for a new hardware revision made longer ago (and, due to supply chain and existing stock, would take a longer time to show up in the wild). So depending on the hardware revision currently you will have either v2.07 or v3.00 as the latest software version.
These will both likely be updated to a newer version that supports both hardware revisions in the future.
Thank you for explaining. There was a note about 3.0 being the first version on new hardware. It wasn’t obvious to me that 3.0 does NOT apply to the older hardware.
