This is what the manufacturer recommends for my battery. It doesn’t say anything about Max Charge voltage but I don’t think you can set that in VE Configure? I see absorption and float only. I set my Charged voltage to 27.4v and not sure that’s right.
I also lowered absorption to 28.25 cuz my bms doesn’t cut off at that voltage, with leaves me with less than a full charge I think, since the manufacturer says absorption should be 28.8?
Ok - in VictronConnect, click on your MPPT controller, go to settings, battery, screenshot the settings there.
Your 28.25 has got your gen to keep running, so now you could bump that up by 0.05 each time you have to run the gen. You will recognise the issue of the BMS throwing back a high voltage, so if you see that, go back down again by 0.05. You will eventually reach a voltage that suits your BMS, cabling, and cells - a point where the cells charge to 100% or close enough, and doesn’t cause the BMS to panic.
I have the MPPT set to the correct absorption and float, and have no probs, but I guess thats because it never reaches a high enough voltage to get to those values.
Also Is there a way to get to the Victron Configure screens to change float and absorption on the multiplus without hooking up a cable and using the mk3, or is that like a dealer only thing?
You can do it with a cable and mk3 device connected to a laptop or Android phone, not sure about i-phone though.
OR
As you have a Cerbo, if that is connected to the web then you can do it remotely through VRM. Make sure you heed any warnings about system set up when doing this to avoid locking yourself out.
