Generator and AC-Coupled PV - Overload

Hello!

I have a three phase parallel Quattro system with AC-Coupled PV and a generator, PV assistant installed, and generator auto start stop for battery SOC.

Im having an issue where on a morning the battery SOC may be low enough to kick in the generator, which will charge the battery, but then at the same time it gets very sunny, and then I get an overload error and the system shuts down.

Im guessing the overload is from the generator plus the AC-coupled PV.

What is the best way to deal with this potential situation? I thought the Quattro would have just limited the current from the generator when there is excess PV? Am I missing a setting/assistant somewhere?

I don’t want to just use quiet hours because it’s usually cloudy, it’s just the odd day at this time of year when it’s clear and sunny.

Thanks!

This is odd as usually the pv assistant shuts down ac coupled PV when a grid source is connected. It does not mix the two - ess assistant mixes the two.

What may be an issue is that some of the inverters are missing the assistant?
