Hello all,
This is my first post, so bare with me.
I recently bought a EVC200300200 Charger. I’ve connected it to my Venus OS running Rpi.
Now I want to track the cumulative energy delivered. I see a energy measurement on the mqtt interface, but that one resets after each charge. It would be great to have a cumulative number over time as well. Is that already available somewhere, or can it be added in a next firmware update?
Regards,
Bert
Hello Bert.
Yes, EVCS support Modbus TCP and have holding registers 5023 and 5024 that is contain total energy. See details in modbus TCP registers table.
Hi Nicolas,
Ah, thanks. that is good news. So the data is availabile!
I have the EVCS connected to Venus OS via modbus TCP.
But I have Venus OS connected to Home assistant(HA) via MQTT. I don’t see that info in the MQTT message. Only the “resetting” one. I have now circumvented the problem in HA with the utility meter integration, which takes out the resets again. I am testing it this week.
But it would be great if the total energy is published on mqtt as well. Simpler is better.
