I tried battery communication and it never worked. See if you can set it up without. Dont use a shunt and let the multi estimate SOC. I would do a firmware update to remove any settings on the multi and also reset the GX device to factory and start again.

That is a terrible idea with MPPT’s as the estimation is going to be wildly off, and thus, unreliable. With unmanaged batteries a shunt isn’t just recommended, it is best practice.

That is nonsense. Best thing I did was a shunt delete. Voltage is king SOC does not mean anything. If exports are working and voltage is 56.5V the battery is full.
