Hi Victron team,
I have been testing the recently released UK Octopus integration for DESS and have some feedback for improvement, tariff used IOG (inteligent octopus go), installation ID: 02813b7c3c28
1.Import at peak rates, randomly importing from the grid presumably because target SOC is not as high as pre-calculated, this is undesired, battery capacity for this installation is big enough to not have to import all day, this happens at base loads and medium loads too.

Today, SOC 71% min soc is 30% I’ve tried lowering min soc but still importing, ive given up and disabled DESS
2.Solar forecast detected incorrectly by DESS but great estimate in the System overview forecast (this may be unrelated to the Octopus UK integration) i wonder if DESS is not taking into account all 3 arrays connected to this installation as less than 50% is not accounted for
3.Discharging during low import rates resulting in battery not reaching 100% SOC by the end of the cheap import rate slot, and all the energy ends up charging the EV, the consumption is usually forecasted accurate so appears this is done deliberately
4.Price update frequency needs to be faster, <5min ideally, Octopus occasionally (regularly during surplus energy in the grid) dispatch lower import rates dynamically out of the 23:30-5:30 window with the condition that the EV is charging, (reported via OCPP, if the charging sessionis interupted the prices are changed to high rate backdating whats been imported up to the last 30 min slot) benefiting from this lower rates would be great.
Currently we either have to skip the low rate slots by unplugging the car or battery is being depleated into the EV. Price changes are being reflected in the API’s

5/6 October is a good example, please note this slots are issued to each individual account
Thank you so much for the hard work inputed into this project,
Any additional details needed please feel free to ask.
