What: Commercial Passenger Vessel
Adding to a current system that only has 1 house source, and a seperate 24V starting source.
Add, 2nd House Source for powering a windless. This will also serve as emergency power to the critical systems as required by the USCG. Normal operation this will not be powering the normal house loads, only work it does is the windless. I may switch to it periodically if the windless is not seeing much use just to cycle that battery a little.
Below is the basic layout, not all loads shown. The house runs a small air compressor, wipers, water pumps, lighting, etc… not a lot of load.

Adding in a DC - DC charger from the 24V system to the 12V as the 12V is a weak alternator at only 16A. According to what I have read on the Charger "• Smart alternator compatibility: engine running detection mechanism. " so should only draw power frem the start when engine is operating / 24V alternator producing power.

Isolating both banks with two AFG100201020, one from the 12V alternator and another from the DC-DC charger.
Vessel does not have AC power at this year, will be added later.
