I am considering changing out the AGM for Lithium batteries in my 2021 Nova. I am looking at installing a Orion 50 amp DC to DC charger in place of the BIM 160. My question is how to wire the charger?
Will I leave the Sig. Wire and the IGN wire that is connected to the BIM disconnected?
There are 2 smaller ga red wires that are connected to the Bat -A termina l(house) on the BIM. They go to 30 amp fuses then towards the front of the van. I have not been able to determine what they are for. Should these be connected to the Coach (alternator battery) terminal on the charger or the house terminal. My guess would be the house side.
Could someone advise me on both topics?
