Hi, new guy here. I recently purchased a used DIY camper van. It came with two BTR Power 300ah LiFePo4 12v batteries, two unknown brand 100 watt roof mounted solar panels, a Renogy 3000 watt inverter, and a renogy DC-DC charger with MPPT plus the Renogy BT-2 Bluetooth module. I was hoping to get more information about the systems functionality so, I added a Victron 500a Smart Shunt, in hopes it would offer more data, notably battery State of Charge percentage and days/Hours remaining at current consumption rate. I had read that the Victron Shunt provided more precise information when compared to something like the Renogy Core One,…which had several bad reviews on Amazon,…citing various issues and non existent customer support.
Can my Victron Smart Shunt see all my components individually, or does it just lump incoming charging and outgoing consumption into collective Plus and minus charge/discharge rates?
