I once had Victron system, but it must be removed after few days because of lack of support. Currently replaced with GoodWe. Would like to move back to Victron, because of lack of companies that are able to configure the system will be done as DIY, but need help with configuration.
There will be 3x Multiplus 10000 (3 phase system) commanded by cerbo gx. Now there are 2 main problems:
-
Need to configure the inverters to NOT stop delivery of electricity on unknown error. In worst case they can shudown, but the passtrough (sometimes referred to as internal AC bypass switch) must reamin ON (closed), under no circumstances the house can remain without electricity. Standard behaviour tested until now is that the inverter sends unknown error to all inverters on the same VE bus and they all shutdown also with AC passtrough OPEN (off).
-
Need to configure without ‘battery oscilation’ - This means that if I tell the inverters to keep minimum 50% of battery as backup for grid outage. The real functionality is that they work from battery until battery drops to 47%, then chargers start to run on full power to get battery to 53%, and then all this repeats. This is very annoying and I believe also not good for battery. Tested connection was that each Multiplus was connected to GRID and to HOUSE (but it was only 5000). Alternative plan might be to connect the Multiplus units ONLY to battery and add skylla to keep battery charged to minimum level needed (dual conversion UPS basically), but in this case it is even more complicated to keep the house powered in case of unknown error on inverters.
