75/15 MPPT with Orion XS

Hello,
First post here.
I currently have a 75/15 charger with 200 watts of solar connected to my 24v battery bank used for my trolling motor on my 20ft bay boat. This is mainly used as a maintainer and is isolated from the Engine and House banks.

I have an existing 120v MinnKota Precision 4 bank onboard charger that I have traditionally used for charging/maintaining the two 12v batteries for the trolling motor and the house and start batteries (4).

I’d like to explore the idea of connecting the solar controller to my Engine and House banks. The engine and house system has a Blue Sea Systems ACR for the engine to charge the start and house banks, but isolates when no charge is present. When the Orion XS 24/12 comes out, would it be possible to add the start and house banks to the mppt controller system for maintaining? I will use my onboard 4 bank charger for bulk charging as needed.

Proposed diagram for reference. Please let me know if anyone sees any issues.

Thanks,
Hunter

@hunterlaird looks good to me ( nice drawing by the way).

The input of the xs must be connected to a battery, not to the output of an mppt, or do i interpret your batteryswitch wrong ?

Thank you

Thanks.
The battery switch I have the XS connected to is a four position 1, 2, 1+2, and Off. The thought with having the XS on 2, I could turn it on/off quickly as needed while underway. Mppt would be on 1. Under ideal situations, I would have it on combined 1+2 essentially giving it and the mppt and combined connection to the 24v bank.

Also, with the reports of heavy electrical interference on VHF radio channels with the current XS out, I’d like to have the ability to quickly turn it off. Hopefully this is doable.

Thanks for the feedback.
