I’m, I’m 49 years old. My adventure started with Victorian 4 and a 1/2 years ago when I was gifted a Smart solar charge controller MPPT 150/45 that didn’t work and 25.6v 50ah lithium iron phosphate battery that I salvageed from a cleaning job and a folding 28w solar panel system someonewas throwing away because the built-in controller burnwd out. I took the money I had and bought a multi meter a Soldiering ironand black tape. After teaching myself the idea for harvesting solar energy I I tool my 9 grade education and built a Solar array. Every step of this was new to me.I have no background in electronics, electricity or mathematics. I could barely read but I have a high comprehension level and I don’t give up. After I learn how to wire panels together I learned what configuration to call them. I replaced the fuse in the Victron smart charger controller and put it the panels and the battery together and enjoyed my DIY off grid power supply. Since then I expanded my abilities by buying an identical charge controller and a Phoenix inverter 24/1200. Two 12.8 v 200ah 2560wh amp hour lithium iron phosphate batteries. I have salvageed x9 43.1v 165.0w 5amp solar panels. My confidence has matured and I’ve gone from replacing equipment. Through repairing them. To maintaining them. I have gone through equipment, battery’s and lead learning what I can and can’t do. Thank you for everything you have taught me. Especially to you trolls. I would have given up with you.
