We own an ocean front, off-grid cottage in Howe Sound close to Vancouver, British Columbia. We have been running a solar power system for the last 15 years based on a Renogy MPPT controller, lead acid batteries and 1400 watts of panels. We have very recently (Aug 2026) completely replaced the system with an all Victron system using EG4 LL batteries and 4800W of solar panels.
