A frustrated solar enthusiast with no solar. I have a semi detached house and a “summer house” in the garden. I’d like to put 4 or 5 panels on the summer house roof, add probably a EasySolar II GX 48 and a fogstar 48v 5120 rack battery.
Probably keep it off grid - but powered “in” to charge the battery as needed and take the AC output to power items in the summer house and also “ideally” back in the house - but separated from the Grid in.
I can’t quite get my head around how the inverter determines whether to use power from the batteries/solar over passing it through from the grid. Anyway. Now I’m here - I can read away
