Where is the JK-BMS CVL value originating from

I never have problems because I study the details carefully. Also I don’t make unfounded judgments and ridiculous remarks. As for Andy, it was thanks to his persistence that JK completely changed the BMS algorithm. There are absolutely no problems with the floating charge, as in earlier firmware versions.

Now, to switch to the floating charge mode, the battery must reach 100% and the absorption timer must start. Only when this condition is reached, the next transition will be the floating charge and the floating charge timer. But it is reset if the battery voltage is less than the set RFV level.

Therefore, in the future, be more careful and thoughtful in your statements.
Quote: (Good luck with a Requested Float Voltage duration of 6 hours . Especially for off-grid systems with just about enough daylight to charge the battery pack(s) :joy: )
And remember that there are practically no identical installations.
This exhausts the topic.

You are beating a dead horse.

Guys, can you stop this discussion, please. It doesn’t add anything to the original question.

I’check the BMS config and my RCV value was incorrectly configured (i guess due to a JK bms firmware upgrade). I’ve corrected this and it should work fine now. I will keep monitoring this. Thanks for the support and explanation.
