Victron Energy Meter vs. Inverter Readings: Investigating Critical Loads Power and Consumption Readings

I uploaded the video to youtube: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORcGYf1dcSs
Yes, I’m sure - I have checked the configuration and installation multiple times.

Metters are connected through the waveshare CAN HAT (https://www.waveshare.com/wiki/2-CH_CAN_FD_HAT).
One channel is used for the ve.can and second for the communication with the JK BMS. All metters are updated to 1.06 version. I have custom service that checks the temperature of my PV interter as well as the current limitter sensor.

Are you able to do a test using the meters on ethernet instead of CAN?

I’ve already done this test. The readings while connected to the Ethernet are the same as when connected to the CAN bus. Secondly, I checked the current flowing to the AC loads using a Fluke 393 clamp meter, and the readings from the Fluke match those from the VM-3P75CT meter.

Ok. I have raised this. The Pi is a bit murkier for getting assistance.

Today, I tried a fresh installation of Venus OS (version 3.41). Unfortunately, the symptoms are the same.
I reconfigured the VMs, removed ESS, and reapplied all the settings, but there was still no change.
I discovered that something is wrong with the grid setpoint. It only reacts when no AC load is connected. When I connect loads, it starts to export about 0.5 kW even though the grid setpoint is set to +1000W.

The problem with the grid setpoint was related to the current limit of the VM, which was set to 2A. I was experimenting with the current limit when I tested my generator. After I changed the limit to 16A, it seems to be working.
