Victron 100/20 MPPT almost caused fire. battery terminal gave 80v , same as PV side

Yesterday I learned that a MPPT 250/70 with serial number HQ2518… has the PV short relay built in.

This was expanded to even more MPPTs, according to Justin. Also the Manuals not reflecting this was already noted.

I know - I’ve reported it to Victron for updating of the manuals, I first encountered its existence a couple weeks ago and reported in this thread, and reported directly to Victron at the same time. I’m told it’s being worked on.

Also, the whole MPPT range uses a common negative for both Battery and PV, except the RS models. So theres no isolation even in a good working MPPT non-RS
