I was able to verify/correct the short circuit E1 condition with the SBP-220. The Victron guys just got this one wrong with their diagram at Model linked on the Multiplus-II product page at MultiPlus-II - Victron Energy. You cannot have the output of the SBP-II connected to the output of the Multiplus-II through the Lynx Distributor as shown in the Victron schematic when a low battery/voltage condition occurs. At that point, the SBP with shut off with an E1 error. The Multiplus-II puts itself into a mode that the DC output appears as a short-circuit to the SBP. When I isolate the Multiplus-II with the BlueSea disconnect, the SBP works as expected. The SBP resets itself automatically and the short circuit condition E1 goes away, the MPPTs and Orion-XSs start to charge the battery under the direction of the Ekrano-GX. My final solution was the removal of SBP working as a battery charging protect.
