Not a new system or setting, but today, my scheduled charge event didn’t work correctly.
During the scheduled event, on the colour display inverter block I saw “sched charge” as usual, but the battery was still discharging and the grid was only partially covering the household loads. (roughly Battery -500W, Grid +300W)
Changing lots of settings in the colour display (including the scheduled events) didn’t help. Rebooting the colour display didn’t work.
What did work was switching off the main hardware switches on the Multiplus2 and the 6 pylontech batteries and then switching everything back on again.
When rebooted, the Multiplus immediately started the scheduled charge event without any further prompting.
Is this just “one of those things” or should I plan to do some maintenance?
Look at your input current limit.
It is likely the cause of not being able to charge and run loads at the same time.
(Other than brain fog on the CCGX) Or mismatched firmware.
The reason I think input current limit is likely not involved in this problem is that the Multiplus had been running successfully with these scheduled charge events for several months and I haven’t modified any current limit settings.
It was simply power-cycling the Multiplus & batteries that cleared the error.
My Multiplus has an external Cerbo GX which was consequently power-cycled when the batteries were switched off, so maybe just repowering that device on its own would have cleared the brain fog?

Heat maybe.in GX. And yeah maybe next time - hopefully there wont be one- just try a cerbo reboot?
