I used 2x 10 qm parallel to the MPPT controler. It were 6 x 205wp panels.
As fuses I used car fuses (which was a bad choice, as the fusebox interior gradually dissolved in the chemicals we loaded). In the end I skipped the fuses altogether and used a 6x MC4 splitter.
?? Temperature compensation should be disabled for Lithium batteries.
My go to idea is always higher voltage means smaller cable cross section lower amps, better power transfer.
Less losses.
Smaller fuses.
Everything has plus and minus sometimes you lose sometimes you win.
This is an issue in a stationary solar farm you can live with.
Lastly having several strings on the same MPPT you still encounter a similar issue… Right?
