Will extra meters improve DESS?

Hey all,

I was wondering how Victron does the prediction of loads.

We are living in a renovated all electric home with quite alot of loads like an ev, heatpump, quooker, induction cooking and the standard like a dishwasher, wasing machine and oven. The prediction is way off and i have a grid meter running and solaredge PV linked for over a month.

It could be that the ev polluting the data but i dont want to exclude the ev from the gridmeter.

We dont drive alot and it would be cool to use the battery to charge the car in the evening.

My main question is: Can i improve the predictions with extra meters on the biggeste loads?

I’ve also observed that EV charging throws off the consumption forecast, and apparently adding an extra meter is supposed to help:

I did install an extra VM3 meter 2 weeks ago, just to measure the EV charger, and I think it’s helping. However, I’m still waiting a couple more weeks for the “old” data to filter out (I think it takes 4 weeks, if I recall correctly?).

I don’t know if there are different models for heatpumps, etc.
