# What do I need (if available) to connect my SmartSolar MPPT 150/60to wifi so I can monitor my RV from home?

Hi, im wanting to be able to monitor my system from home when im away from my RV. I have a newly purchased SmartSolar MPPT 150/60, is there an add on the plugs into into it that connects to my local internet?

Hi you will need an gx device (cerbo) to monitor your mppt in vrm

If your good with programming electronics you could use a raspberry pi with venus os or you would have to diy something …

I added a Victron Global Link 520 to my Victron solar setup in my camper. It allows me to monitor the system from any place via the Internet. It’s about $240 on Amazon. I’m very happy with it.
