Which inverter for 8 cells

Hello, my father has 8 large solar panels on the garage roof and a faulty Growatt inverter. I have a Victron system in my motorhome and am absolutely delighted with it. What would I need from Victron to be able to feed the electricity from the 8 panels into the house grid and use a 100Ah 24V LiPo battery for storage? He happens to have one of those lying around here as well. I’d also like to be able to monitor it via an app. Thanks in advance for your help, and sorry for asking something like this.

Best regards,
Jörg

What were the specifications for the growatt inverter mppt? Just match that with a victron mppt

Hello @JORG,

With the Victron MPPT Calculator, you can calculate precisely which SmartMPPT is right for you. You can also enter your own panel data. You can find it via Google.

A MultiPlus2 is also required to generate AC.

The 24 V options are more limited. With 48/52 V, more is possible and the devices can be smaller. The second value indicates the battery charging current.

A Multi RS 6000 Hybrid inverter would also be an option.
