I recently purchased a second-hand EasySolar (I am the third owner - a real testament to Victron equipment’s longevity!). The unit comes with a built-in Color Control GX, but I can’t get the device registered to my VRM profile because it is already associated with another account.
I asked the previous two owners to delete the installation from their VRM profiles, but neither of them has it linked to their accounts. It seems an installer along the way must have registered it.
I followed the standard advice here VRm Portal ID already registered . However, there is no reseller listed for my device. So I reach out to Victron using the support channel. My request was forwarded to my regional representative (salessa@victronenergy.com), but I haven’t received a response in over a week.
I’m running out of ideas, and getting a device onto the VRM portal surely shouldn’t be this difficult. Has anyone experienced this before? Any help or pointers to get this resolved would be hugely appreciated. I’m determined to monitor my new system from anywhere!
