Has anyone had an issue with a Victron SmartShunt 1000A burning out? The device worked for less than 2 days. I turned off the inverter, and when I tried to reconnect the battery positive to the shunt, it started smoking.

There have been some issues with the ICs burning out on some SmartShunts across the current-handling range; Victron is aware of the issue and is working to identify the SN range affected.
File a warranty claim with your distributor and they’ll get it taken care of!
