Some phases import from grid while others simultaneously export solar surplus. With an arithmetic meter (LUNA LSM40 ), import and export are counted by electricity provider separately per phase — paying for grid power while giving away solar. I just requested utility meter replacement with a vector/compensating meter.
While I wait for the new meter to be replaced (could take a few weeks) would it be an ok idea to change ESS multiphase regulation from the default “Total ol phases” to “Individual phase”?
System
-
3 x MultiPlus-II 48/5000, three-phase VE.Bus and Cerbo GX MK2
-
3 x DC-coupled MPPT solar chargers on shared 48V bus
-
External grid meter Victron ET340
-
Utility meter: LUNA LSM40 — arithmetic (non-compensating, per-phase)
-
ESS: Optimized with BatteryLife, grid setpoint 0W, DC PV feed-in excess ON
-
Multiphase regulation: Total of all phases
