The data sheet of the new HS19 mentions compability with the “Victron HV Protocol”. We already evaluated our 16s-LV BMS using Texas Instruments BQ Chip with additional external Infineon CoolSiC IMZ120R030 why the step upstairs to 1kV should not be too difficult.
Are there any sources or other pdf specification what helps to become compatible with the Victron HV protocol?
You contact Victron support or sales manager for your area directly and they send you the information.
Just as theoretically you had done for the ones you have working right now.
As fast as I know Victron wants to be more restrictive wrt supported HV batteries, so I guess they also don’t hand out the protocol to everyone.
Look it from the other angle…
According with this, Victron HV protocol should be compatible with Pylontech HV protocol.
And Pylontech HV protocol is public domain.
So, at least, the implementations that comply with Pylontech HV protocol should work OK with Victron HV products.
