I have a Motorhome 12v AGM Leisure battery system with AGM charger. The system charges the 2x Leisure as well as the vehicle 2 x AGM batteries when on EHU.
I was thinking of leaving the AGM system in place, but fitting a Victron BMV-700 in line with the Leisure batteries, and changing the Leisure batteries to Lifepo4 Lithium. I would then use the power when on 230v EU to power a suitable lithium charger for the new Leisure batteries, using the Victron BMV-700 to isolate the two circuits, but allowing the power from the Leisure batteries to be used in the general Motorhome 12v circuit. This would allow the 12v AGM vehicle batteries to be charged individually from the Leisure batteries but on the same system. is this a good idea. Any positive input would be much appreciated,
