On my previous inverter (Delios) the strings were set up, as one at 4Kw and one at 2Kw a strange configuration and only rarely seen. I was curious as the 2 kW string would drop out for either 2 or 3 seconds or 10 seconds. This seemed to be connected to the movement of the clouds. I then found out that what was happening was, what is known as the cloud edge effect, and it was the way the inverter coped with the variation in the energy hitting the panels. Very intense dropped out for 10s less 2 secs. How does Victron manage the cloud edge effect if at all?
