In v3.67 I’m using that same endpoint (Installations, Installation stats, Dynamic ESS, 15 min interval, from Now to end of day).
Grid buy price for the current period is in msg.payload.records.deGb[0][1].
Hope this helps.
Yeah, I don’t know what happened. A few deploys seems to have removed the error and now installations - Stats: dynamic_ess seems to work. And it indeed has payload.records.deGb.
Thanks!
Has anyone noticed issues with exporting energy to the grid from MPPT chargers?
In the configuration Settings / System Setup / ESS / Grid Feed-in / DC-coupled PV – Feed in excess I have it enabled, but it doesn’t change anything. As soon as the battery reaches 100%, the MPPT charger stops working. Any idea where to look for a possible cause?
Hi all
I just tried to use the virtual switch / momentary switch, and it doesn’t fire in node red.
To make sure, I did no mistake I simply connected a momentary switch with two debug nodes, one for each output, set the output of the debug nodes to all data.
while it shows up in the remote console of GUIv2 and I can press it (while pressed the button shows “On”, it doesn’t fire anything in node red, so the debug nodes show nothing.
I have this behaviour only with the momentary switch, the on off switches work as intended.
Anybody else having this behaviour?
thank you
Hi @wolferl
I tried to reproduce what you are describing:
- my setup is as per below, a momentary switch, and two debug nodes (one for each output).
- I push the button via GUI V2 for about 2 seconds, then let go.
- I do see debug output, but for “debug 14” only.
In my understanding this means:
- The “passthrough” output (the first output) does not work as documented.
- The “state” output (the second output) does work.
I will create a Github issue for the first output.
Concerning the “state” output: Can you please double check if you get that output? From your description it sounds as if you get no output at all, which is different to what I’m seeing. If you still cannot see anything on the second output, please share your flow.
Best,
Chris
Like reportet already for v3.70-78 :A few days ago I updated to v3.70 - 81 and all groups and names were in the right order. Today Update to v3.70-83 and the names and groups disappeared again
Thank you Chris.
I have exactly the same setup, see the pic. I don’t get an output at all at 3.70~83 but as well on 3.70~81
Bonjour,
C’est une erreur de ma part ? J’ai l’impression que le système n’arrive pas à gérer plusieurs nœud “Virtual Switch”.
Hello,
Is this a mistake on my part? I have the impression that the system is unable to manage multiple “Virtual Switch” nodes.

Je me répond …. problèmes corrigés sur la version 3.70.83 …
I’m replying to myself… problems fixed in version 3.70.83…
In V3.70~54 the option was added to have mre PV inverter compatabilty.
Tested this with APsystems DS3 microinverter with ECU-C control and adding works perfectly.
Only the dynamic power limit is creating issue, by default dynamic power limiting is enabled which seems logic, as ECU-C is also capable of handling it.
Only after adding this the dynamic power limit is set to 0W:
Even if only 1 out of 5 micro-inverters has dynamic power limit enabled all the inverters go back to 10-15 watt power. The limit is never changing.
In my setup have 5 DS3 inverters and SolarEdge SE2000, there the dynamic power limit is set on 2000W.
Can I manually change the power limit setting to a higher value? Trying to set the limit via node-red doesn’t seems to work, it keeps showing a power limit of 0 watt
DESS has a strange issue, charging and discharging the battery in the same hour while it’s absolutely not profitable.
It would be very useful if this could be extended to also include warnings, so that for example a BMS disconnect would be visualized at the helm before it actually occurs.
Note that warnings don’t trigger the external alarm even if one is installed at the helm, so this is currently a gap in functionality (see: Trigger GX alarm relay also on Lynx Smart BMS warnings · Issue #1330 · victronenergy/venus · GitHub).
