Venus OS v3.70~35 available for public testing

Since version v3.70~7 (also in v3.70~9), the battery display on the Brief page disappears approximately every 10 seconds (showing ‘battery not connected’). I am using SmartShunt as the battery monitor.
I rolled back to version 3.62 and everything is working fine.
Has anyone else noticed a similar issue?

After updating to 3.70~7 the custom input nodes of nodered don’t work anymore, so I don’t see PV generation and also no temperatures I inject via Node-RED.

Update: After removing the virtual device node, deploy and undoing the removal with crtl-z followed by a deploy it works again..

Yes same for me. I went back to v3.70~6
(I have a virtual battery and no error is shown. But there is a reinit every 10 seconds)

I noticed that my multiplus 2 gx 5000 doesn’t connect to the strongest accesspoint, but almost to the weakest.

There is an accesspoint one meter away from the multiplus which is not used by the multiplus.

This one doesn’t work for Multiplus 2 GX (Probably it’s only for Cerbo GX):

Add GX internal relays to the new Switch pane as well as add option to name them. To use this, go to Settings → Integrations → Relays, there set the function of the relay to be Manual. Once done, go to the Device list, where you’ll find the relay and can (a) give it a name, (b) set a group name, which is to organise multiple switches on the Switch pane, and (c) hide it from the Switch pane when wanted. For example when just used be a Node-RED flow and the intention is not to have it visible as a controllable output in the user interface.

This works for Ethernet but is not visible for WiFi:

GX relays on MP-II GX don’t work

Correct. To the disappointment of many, including ourselves, the relay in the MultiPlus-II and EasySolar-II is not a real “GX relay”. Hopefully some day.

Correct, link local address is only done on ethernet.

Installed and virtual switches working well, all renaming working , toggle tested , currently testing with qty4 Victron Io extender150 units connected through USB hub, we are also in the process of developing and testing an 8 channel power interface module that works with the IO Extender module, this power interface PCB will have 8 channels rated to 20A each , with short circuit and overload protection and the the outputs are MOSFET driven so the dimmable functions will work as well. we excited about the virtual button functions as it allows for routines to be run and execute automations, the market will be for RV industry and expedition truck industry.

Do see power factor is now available for em540.
How about grid frequency?
In Node Red the grid meter frequency doesn’t change, seems to be a fixed value only.
Multiplus ac in frequency also gives a fixed value, only multiplus AC out frequency shows changes, but resolution is bad.
Could this be fixed?
Em540 also sends frequency every 100ms, could the update be less than 5 seconds?

After I installed the new beta version the VRM no longer showed realtime, the grid of devices that show the power flow no longer had the moving worm things. It also did not give the option for remote console. I rebooted a few times and still no realtime VRM. The time to go which in the last beta was off went back to normal but I reverted back to the previous version in memory because I was not able to see in real time what was going on remotely

And updates the Qt libraries, which is what both the classic and new UI are built with, to a newer version, which is always a bit of a time consuming and tedious process.

Two suggestions:
It would be great, if the current value could be displayed in the slider of the dimmable switch and if we could define the range for the values in node red…

have similar suggestions:

make the on/off text programmable to display a userdefined value, like in my video where I used the name to display the real value of the slider, in my case the on/off text/function will confuse user

Can a peak shaving option “never” be added to this beta as peak shaving drains my battery?
