V3.70 DESS using grid for consumption instead of battery

A solution would be a DESS SOC margin. There is “MIN SOC” option in Dynamic ESS. Would be good to have another battery level option, below which Dynamic ESS will cease selling energy to grid and use remaining battery capacity to support AC loads to maintain zero grid import. For instance “MIN SOC” 25% and “NO SELL” 50%. Currently ESS frequently sells to much energy at evening/night up to MIN SOC and sometimes even decides to charge from grid in the mornings, while energy price is high, not waiting for PV to fully kick in. Adding a Reset Button for Consumption Forecast in VRM

Is it possible to add a button to VRM to reset consumption forecast next to the reset solar forecast button? Sometimes the consumption forecast can be disturbed and become incorrect, a reset button could solve this issue.

V3.60: DESS grid setpoint

There is a minor bug with DESS grid setpoint. It does not seem to honor the ESS setpoint I applied in the Cerbo. I think DESS should honor it. It seems to be currently using some hardcoded default value, maybe 50W. I have about 30W offset between my VM-3P75CT and electricity provider grid meter, which causes 80W constant buy with DESS in self consumption strategy. With only ESS, I use -20W setpoint, which comes out to pretty much zero actual consumption, only a little bit of import on average. …
