It should get mapped correctly on start. The bluetooth library is in the package.
The dev has been looking at this but when spinning up the identical OS in a virtual environment it works perfectly.

Same here. I have the file listed in the squashfs-root directory as well from the extracted image.
So the package obviously doesn’t find it.
i am not a developer, but for me it sounds like an easy fix to tell the configuration where it can be found.
Correct! I did such Qt AppImages a lot and they worked fine regardless version installed in the system.
All, I have tried to clean this topic to make it more clear for the dev team.

Support has replied already.
They have installed the same Manjaro version i am using and cannot reproduce the issue.
Maybe it’s time for me to reinstall my device 
Before that i am testing on a different device with lower hardware specs (my original one has > 64 GB RAM installed, sometimes this causes trouble).
As it’s not really important to get VC working on Linux as long as the Android App is working properly, the topic can be closed for now until the support has found something different.

But yes, a reinstall might be a good test as well.
Could they try to install openSUSE TW as well?

I’ve also asked in Manjaro Community. At least one member confirmed the issues i have.

The library is in the latest beta, that is a known issue 6.30 will fix but the beta isn’t working for you even though it is in the latest package hence why it works for the dev’s test environment on the same distribution.
Maybe i have to live with it.
As there is no guarantee that it will work after reinstall, i think i stick to the smartphone app.
At least the issue has now been found and can be recreated, so a fix will come along.
