Using Multiplus as the telecom regulator

Can we use the Multiplus II to supply -48V telecom power system? Are there any issues that we should put special consideration?

As in charge the battery for a 48v system from mains?

The only consideration is the voltage range of the telecom equipment

It is joining a 240V generator to the common DC bus to charge the battery and to provide power to the DC load.

Thank you for your suggestion. We will make sure that the load is in the provided voltage range (usually around -40V to -56V).

If its solely used for DC charging, and being fed from a generator, then i would rather use a charger instead. The IP43 chargers have a much broader input voltage and frequency range compared to an MP. So feeding them from a generator is less hassle.

This is definitely a less fussy way of charging from mains if that is its only purpose definitely.

Thank you for the suggestion. I have just checked the IP43 charger for 48V. The specification is very nice but the charger is not available in our region. We are also looking for about 8kW which might have to use 6 to 7 units in parallel.
