Upgrading Solax 5000 inverter/controllers. LG battery coms

I have two LG RESU battery systems each connected to separate Solax 5000 inverter / controller in off grid mode EPS mode with 5kw solar panels installed 2017. My problem is that these Solax systems are limited to 8A/240V outputs so every now and then they trip usually because of a refrigerator start and need resetting.

My question is what victron units can talk to my LG batteries. Solax and LG have been less than helpful as systems no longer supported. BTW both working OK except for regular tripouts needing reset.

System 1: Battery. LG RESU 6.4 EX actually two units that I have joined together. Used to charge my MG4 EV car. Once voltage goes below 48.2V batteries trip out and can’t auto reset as in EPS mode so i have to recharge batteries to above 48.6v and reboot everything. my fault.

System 2: Battery. LG RESU 6.5. trips out regularly when running two appliances; again my fault.

See above for which batteries Victron equipment is compatible with. I don’t see LG on the list. However, that does not mean that Victron’s os can’t talk to the battery - just that it has not been tested and approved.

@peter4 The LG was supported Victron & LG Chem Resu [Victron Energy] on the Multiplus. I did however have no problem using a Resu10 on a MP II. At worst it can be used as a dumb battery, but I am not sure if it requires a keep alive signal. One common problem is outdated firmware on the LG which only LG can provide through support request. If memory serves me it is loaded onto a SD card and inserted into the battery to flash it.

Might be helpful to read through this Victron document.
