Is it useful to do a firmware update of my Multiplus 24-1600? This is related to charging my Lifepo4 battery.

What’s ‘useful’ for you we can only guess. But I’d find v154 restrictive, if only for the fact that it can’t handle Assistants.
154 must be pushing 10yo now, and the 26 chip still current. So you can update to the very latest fw.

It may be that my question is not clear because of the translation from Dutch to English. Maybe I can formulate it differently: does an update have an added value in my case? For charging a Lifepo4 battery I can change the values myself. But I think that the minimum absorption time cannot be less than a day. It could be that in the update that is different. And maybe the update gives other new useful things.
Have a look at the changelog for your firmware and see if there is new features that you would like.
