Unexpected consumption leads to battery discharge during low prices

Situation:

  • Production expected to be higher than consumption
  • DESS plans to charge on feedin but not from the grid (prices will be lower later on)
  • Consumption temporarily peaks above production between 13.00 and 13.20

Expected behaviour: Battery idles (probably achieved by Strategy: Pro battery, and restrictions: 3 - No energy flow between battery and grid)

Observed behaviour: Battery discharges to prevent net supply (caused by Strategy: 1 - Self-consumption). This leads to discharge at a time that energy can be very cheaply bought, which isn’t optimal.
