Trying to enter correct setting for Victron Connect App

I have a preinstalled Victron controller in my Airstream and a Victron Smart Shunt that I access with the VictronConnect app. I am confused as to how I set up the Float Charge setting for the two 100 amp Lithium BattleBorn Batteries. I thought a float charge for a lithium battery was 13.6. Some say the charge voltage setting on the app should be set at 14.2-14.4, while others say to set the charged voltage setting to 0.2V or 0.3V below your charger’s float voltage, typically around 14.0V to 14.2V for a 12V LiFePO4 battery. What is the recommended setting on the smart shunt app that is the correct float charge for a Battleborn lithium battery? The app does not let me set an float charge setting.

I also want to add that the MPPT says “Float’” and the charge is 14.1

The best place to find the correct information about your battery is the manual from the battery manufacturer.

The SmartShunt isn’t controlling any of your charging, so is irrespective of the float charge settings of your chargers. The SmartShunt is a battery monitor only, not a charger or charge controller. “Charged voltage” is one of several settings that the SmartShunt uses to calculate when it should set its SOC calculation to 100% SOC. That is, however, just a calculation, and just a display - whether the SmartShunt says your battery bank is at 100% SOC or not does not in fact have any effect whatsoever on the charging of your batteries, or their actual SOC.

For more information, please fully read and understand the SmartShunt user and installation manual, which you can access by entering its serial number here: Need support? - Victron Energy

In general, set the “charged voltage” to ~0.2v below the Bulk/Absorb settings of your chargers. For Battle Born, which advises Bulk/Absorb settings of 14.4v, the “charged voltage” in your SmartShunt should typically be set to 14.2v, though that is depending on what else is in the system, or what you’re actually charging with and what voltages your chargers are actually programmed to.

Can anyone tell me what this is telling me?

That’s an MPPT Control, and it’s telling you your MPPT is in the Absorption charging stage.
